Local Priorities update |
||
Dear Resident
For those of you that have taken the time to complete our priority survey thank you as you have helped to form our Autumn Priorities that we will now work towards. However firstly a review of the Summer Priorities. #yousaidwedid
Town Centre - ASB including retail crime - Your local officers have conducted plain clothes operations within the town centre, including daily OP HOTSPOT patrols. During these operations, the most vulnerable stores were identified and efforts made to reduce crime in their stores. These stores are also part of a separate HertsConnected group were they are updated about retail specific crimes. Officers continue to have partnership meetings with stakeholders of the Town Centre. These relationships will continue into the future.
Rural - Speeding - Your local officers have been conducting regular patrols in the hotspot areas. Speed enforcement operations have been conducted. We have also worked with neighbouring forces, Rural Operational Support Team and local landowners to look into the issues caused by off-road bikes.
West - ASB and Speeding - Your local officers have been conducting regular speed operations within your area. A number of speeding tickets were given out and residents educated around speed and the dangers of it. There have been regular patrols and beat surgeries of all shopping areas. A number of local youths have been identified as linked to ASB in the area, these will be spoken to alongside their parents.
The new Autumn Priorities are - Town Centre - ASB Rural - Fly tipping - TOMV/TFMV West - ASB and Speeding
